Dr. Schvartz specializes in patent issues mainly in the fields of biochemistry, pharmacology, and biotechnology. Dr. Schvartz has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing patentability analyses, handling client patent portfolios, and advising clients on patent strategy.

Dr. Schvartz joined Webb + Co. in September 2002. During seven years prior to joining Webb + Co., she held a position as a Principal Research Associate in the Department of Biological Regulation, The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel.

Dr. Schvartz completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Glaxo Research Institute, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA.

Education: Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Department of Hormone Research, The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. M.Sc. in Endocrinology at the Department of Experimental Medicine and Cancer Research, Hadassah Medical School and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel. B.Sc. in Biology, with distinction, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel.
