Dr. Fleisher specializes in patent matters in the fields of biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. She has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as assessing patentability.

Dr. Fleisher brings a strong combination of academic and industry experience. She conducted postdoctoral research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and has had significant exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, including serving as a preclinical study manager at a startup company. Prior to her doctoral studies, she held research positions at MIT and the Rockefeller University.

Dr. Fleisher joined Webb + Co. in December 2023, after an internship with Sanford T. Colb & Co.

Education: Ph.D. and B.A. in Chemistry, Columbia University, NY, USA. Her doctoral research focused on the molecular mechanisms by which the cellular translational machinery—particularly the ribosome—recognizes and responds to D-amino acids during protein synthesis.
